Boot and pot
The boot is the starting contribution collected before cards are dealt. The pot is the total collected during the hand. A boot amount does not tell you the maximum a hand can cost: read the stake and pot limits as well.
Blind and seen
Blind means playing before looking at your own cards. Seen means you have looked. The permitted stake can depend on that status, so do not assume the same amount applies to both players. Looking at cards changes your information; it does not improve the hand you were dealt.

Chaal and raise
Chaal is the contribution made on a turn to stay in the hand. A raise increases the amount the next player must respond to, within the table’s limits. Check the displayed amount before confirming an action.
Pack or fold
To pack is to leave the current hand. Cards are no longer in contention for that pot. Packing does not mean leaving the entire app or deleting an account.
Show and side show
A show compares eligible remaining hands to resolve a round. A side show is a comparison between eligible seen players under the table’s rules. A request can have conditions: player status, turn order and the number of players left may matter.
Trail, sequence and colour
Trail means three cards of one rank. Pure sequence means consecutive ranks in the same suit. Sequence uses consecutive ranks with mixed suits. Colour means one suit without consecutive ranks. A pair has two cards of one rank; otherwise the hand is high card.
Rules worth checking
Before the first hand, read how aces are ordered in sequences, how ties are resolved, when a show is allowed and what happens if a turn times out. A familiar word may have a different rule in a variant. This glossary describes common terms, not confirmed features or limits of this APK.
